1. Your Adventure, Our Priority

At Obsidiana Travel, we are always looking to improve your experience. Therefore, we may update these Terms from time to time. If we make any significant changes, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance and give you the option to cancel your reservation if you do not agree.

 

2. Get Ready for the Adventure!

Age: To make a reservation, you must be at least 18 years old.

Reservations: You can easily book your adventure on our website. Before confirming, you will see all the details, prices, and what your experience includes.

Your Safety Comes First: It is important that you review the requirements for each adventure, such as minimum age, physical condition, and required equipment.

Respect Our Guides: During the adventure, follow the instructions of our guides to ensure your safety and that of everyone involved.

Your Belongings: Take care of your personal belongings during the adventure. Obsidiana Travel is not responsible for lost or damaged items.

Provided Equipment: Obsidiana Travel commits to providing the equipment specified in the information shared with you, in optimal condition for use during your experience. We ask that you take proper care of it. If the equipment is damaged or lost, you will be responsible for paying 100% of its value.

 

3. Additional Benefits

Secure Your Spot: You can reserve your place in the adventure with a small initial payment (specified in each purchase beforehand) and pay the remaining balance on the day of the expedition.

Flexibility: If your plans change, you may modify the date of your adventure with up to one year of validity, according to the calendar we offer. Changes must be made at least 15 days in advance. After this deadline, the reservation will be forfeited.

 

4. Cancellations and Unforeseen Events

Changes on Our Side: If we must cancel an adventure due to force majeure (such as natural disasters, weather changes, park closures, or illness of one of our operators) or if the minimum number of participants is not met, we will offer a new date to reschedule, valid for up to one year.

Your Cancellations: Once your reservation is confirmed, no refunds or name changes to another person will be issued.

On-Site Cancellations or Modifications: Obsidiana Travel prioritizes the safety of its clients. For this reason, we reserve the right to modify or cancel any activity if adverse weather conditions, failure to comply with safety regulations, or any other circumstance that may put participants’ physical integrity at risk so requires. In the event of cancellation, no refunds will be issued; however, alternatives such as rescheduling the activity or modifying the itinerary will be considered (if applicable). It is the client’s responsibility to have the appropriate equipment and to follow the guide’s instructions at all times. Any disrespect toward our team during the activities will also be grounds for cancellation.

 

5. Limitation of Company Liability

I acknowledge that Obsidiana Travel is not responsible for accidents, injuries, illnesses, losses, or damages that may occur during the activity, whether caused by my own negligence, third parties, or natural causes. The company will provide first aid and assistance in case of emergency, but is not responsible for medical or rescue expenses.

 

6. Compliance with Instructions and Participant Responsibility

I commit to strictly following the guide’s instructions at all times and to using the safety equipment provided. I understand that my safety largely depends on my own responsibility and judgment.

 

7. Voluntary Participation and Acknowledgment of Risks

By hiring the services of Obsidiana Travel, I declare that I participate in this activity voluntarily and am fully aware of the risks inherent to high-mountain activities, such as weather changes, rough terrain, avalanches, falls, and other natural hazards. I understand that these activities can be physically demanding and potentially dangerous.
